Premier Acres is a northern Indiana stallion station offering some of the hottest breeding lines in harness racing. For the 2024 season we have added Breeders Crown champion Freaky Feet Pete, Sweet Lou stallion Loubet and Progress Pace winner Why Not Now to our roster, joining Best In Show, Capt Midnight, You Know You Do, Pilot Discretion and Temporal Hanover.

Premier Acres is pleased to stand the only son of Sweet Lou in the state of Indiana! Making only 16 career starts, Loubet showed tremendous ability, winning in 1:49.3 as a freshman and capturing the Kindergarten Classic Series final. As a sophomore he hit the board in PASS action at The Meadows. One of the most highly-touted young pacers from the Ron Burke barn, injuries kept Loubet from realizing his potential on the track. He comes from a winning family, sired by the red-hot Sweet Lou, sire of super sophomore Confederate. Capitalizing on a sensational sophomore campaign, Why Not Now will race and breed in the Hoosier State in 2024. The son of Always A Virgin put together a formidable 2023 season, hiting the board in each of his 18 starts, winning nine times and banking $617,165. In Indiana Sires Stakes action he won two divisions and finished second four times before claiming the $250,000 Super Final in 1:49.4. In open stakes action, Why Not Now finished second in the $190,000 Monument Circle and captured the $260,000 Progress Pace final at Dover Downs. Breeders Crown and Indiana Sires Stakes champion

Indiana favorite Freaky Feet Pete stands his first season at Premier Acres in 2024 after four years elsewhere in the Hoosier State. The son of Rockin Image captured Indiana Sires Stakes finals at two and three. As a sophomore, 'Pete' won the Breeders Crown final and Monument Circle. As a four year old he took his 1:47.4 mark. A winner in 37 of 76 career starts, Freaky Feet Pete is the fastest and richest son of Rockin Image. Pete's first crop reached the track in 2023, with a small crop of 25 starters. Of those starters, 11 were winners, with a trio pacing in 1:55 or better. Colt Where's Drogon turned in the fastest clocking, a 1:53.4 effort and he finished first or second in nine of 16 starts. Best In Show, a winner at two, three, four and five, returns for his third season at Premier Acres in 2024. The royally-bred stallion is a son of leading sire Bettor's Delight out of the brilliant World Champion and Dan Patch Award winner Put On A Show p, 5, 1:47.3m ($2,406,628). Stakes placed in two of three freshman starts, Best In Show hit the board in 13 of 16 sophomore attempts while battling on the Grand Circuit and in Ontario. The colt scored three times, capturing the $682,650 Meadowlands Pace, defeating favorite Captain Crunch and Bettor's Wish, taking his 1:48 record. Best In Show finished second in a division of the Simcoe, Somebeachsomewhere, Simpson and Breeders Crown elimination. As ages four and five Best In Show continued to display his speed and collect wins, taking seasonal marks of 1:49.1 and 1:49. At the time of his retirement, Capt Midnight was the second-richest son of the great Captaintreacherous. A $350,000 yearling purchse, he paced in 1:49.4 in three of 10 freshman starts. As a sohpomore he registered miles of 1:49.4 or faster in 14 of 15 starts. He competed against Grand Circuit horses that will go down as some of the sport's greatest and held his own, reaching the finals of the Meadowlands Pace, Cane Pace, Adios, North America Cup and qualifying for the final of the Little Brown Jug. At three, Capt Midnight paced second to Tall Dark Stranger in the Cane Pace, clocking a 1:47.4 mile. He was second to Warrawee Vital in the Bluegrass Stake, pacing in 1:47.2, and also runner-up to Party Girl Hill at Lexington, timed in 1:47.3. Capt Midnight's first crop debuts in 2024. Learn more

Pilot Discretion is a young stallion with tremendous commercial appeal and strong results from his first crop. A son of the great Muscle Hill, out of the Self Possessed mare Self Indulgent, he offers a Grand Circuit pedigree. On the track, the trotter made only two starts as a freshman, but displayed his talent, winning twice at Lexington. Pilot Discretion returned at three to capture the $185,250 Goodtimes final in 1:52.4 while defeating eventual Hambletonian champion Forbidden Trade. He cut the mile in the Stanley Dancer Memorial before finishing second to Greenshoe, trotting a lifetime best 1:51. Despite only 16 starters in 2023, he produced 11 winners, a nearly 69 percent winning rate. Nine freshmen took marks of 2:00 or better led by multiple Indiana Sires Stakes winner and Grand Circuit victor Flirtnwiththepilot 2, 1:56.1s ($104,920) and Indiana Sires Stakes leg winner Flight Number One 2, Q1:56.4s ($85,415). Temporal Hanover stands his second season at Premier Acres in 2024. From the first crop of top trotting sire Walner, Temporal Hanover offers breeders a royal pedigree and proven results on the track. The second-richest son of Walner, Temporal Hanover raced two seasons, finishing on the board in 19 of 25 starts for trainer Marcus Melander. A five-time winner at two, Temporal Hanover captured a Champlain division and was an open lengths winner in his Internaional Stallion Stakes split. At three, he captured the $310,000 Zweig and $300,000 Earl Beal Jr. Memorial and finished second in the $430,000 Kentucky Futurity, $240,000 NJSS final and finished a neck back in a Bluegrass division, trotting in 1:50.2. His freshman crop was led by multiple Indiana Sires Stakes leg winner Gruesome Twosome, timed in 1:53.4 with earnings topping $225,000. On the track, You Know You Do was a five-time winner at two, including his elim and the $360,650 Peter Haughton Memorial Final at The Meadowlands. He also won the Champlain and the Bluegrass, while finishing second in both his elim and $328,000 William Wellwood Memorial Final.
