A Grand Circuit winner at both two and three, Temporal Hanover brings one of the hottest bloodlines in the sport to the Hoosier State. Hitting the board in 19 of 25 starts for trainer Marcus Melander, the stallion won nine times while banking just shy of $1 million. He was purchased for $55,000 at Harrisburg as a yearling.
As a freshman, the colt won five times, including two rounds of NJSS action, a Champlain Stakes division and International Stallion Stakes division, where he took his 1:53.2 two year old mark.
Last season, Temporal Hanover raced first or second in 10 of 13 starts. His victories include triumphs in the $310,000 Zweig, $300,000 Earl Beal Jr. Memorial and a pair of NJSS legs. He finished second six times in some of the Grand Circuit's top events. His runner-up performances include the $240,000 NJSS final, $125,000 Stanley Dancer (trotted in 1:50), $275,000 New Jersey Classic final, $118,500 Bluegrass Stake and $430,000 Kentucky Futurity. Temporal Hanover raced third in the $1 million Hambletonian final.
