As a sophomore he hit the board in PASS action at The Meadows. One of the most highly-touted young pacers from the Ron Burke barn, injuries kept Loubet from realizing his potential on the track.
"I was as excited about Loubet as a 3 year old as I've ever been with any horse. He won his last race at 2 (the 2022 Kindergarten) in 1:49.3, last quarter in :25.3. He's got a different gear, he's special, but unfortunately fought injuries at 3. In a 3 year old class dominated by Sweet Lou's, I truly believe he was capable of being at the top. We will breed some of our mares to Loubet and can't wait to bid on his yearlings. I think he'll be an exciting, fresh option for the state of Indiana," said Burke.
He comes from a winning family, sired by the red-hot Sweet Lou, sire of super sophomore Confederate. His dam has produced four winners from five foals, and the second dam produced the accomplished Apprentice Hanoer p,2, 1:49.4; 3,1:49.4f; 4,1:49.2; BT1:48.1 ($983,118). Place your bets on Loubet!
